18,500 temporary jobs in school education sector - 3 months pay extension order !!

The Director of School Education has issued an order extending the salary of 18,500 temporary posts in the Tamil Nadu School Education Department for 3 months from January 2021. Thus the employees are happy.

Wage extension:

Schools in Tamil Nadu have been closed since March due to the spread of corona. Classes are being taken online and through educational television so that students' education is not compromised. A consultation meeting is also being held on the commencement of live classes for 10th and 12th class students after the Pongal holiday. It has been reported that schools are likely to reopen soon.

School Education SE5(1) Temporary Posts 5926 Three months From 01.01.2021 of teachers and non-teachers working in government schools in Tamil Nadu. According to an order issued by the Director of School Education,  posts ranging from high school head teachers to other staff have been given pay extensions for 3 months from January 2021.
